Everything people actually ask.

The products

It is our hero botanical, chosen for its rarity, its aromatic character and its place in the formulation. We describe the finished product honestly: it is luxuriously moisturising, it leaves skin feeling nourished and supple, and it helps improve the appearance of fine lines. We do not claim it heals, treats or regenerates anything, those are medicinal claims and this is a cosmetic.

No. They share the same formulation platform and the same botanical heart, then diverge: the eye contour cream is lighter, has a lower irritation potential and is specifically validated for the eye area. Around eighty per cent shared, twenty per cent deliberately different.

The formulation is unisex and built around emollience and barrier support rather than actives that require tolerance-building. If your skin is highly reactive, patch test on the inner forearm first, as you should with anything new.

Used correctly, a rice-grain amount per eye, tapped in, around five months of nightly use. It is concentrated, and using more will not do more.

Ingredients, safety and claims

Yes. Each product has a Cosmetic Product Safety Report signed by a qualified safety assessor, and a Product Information File held by the Responsible Person. Products are notified before being placed on the market. This is not optional, and we would not sell without it.

Formulated, manufactured, filled and finished in Britain, by a contract manufacturer operating to ISO 22716 cosmetic good manufacturing practice. The Boswellia frereana itself is Somali in origin, and we say so plainly.

No. Neither we nor our manufacturer test finished products or ingredients on animals.
